After completing my master degree, I joined an IT company in my hometown and worked for 2 years. Soon after, I relocated to Bangalore after my marriage. After a considerable time, I started looking for opportunities in my new town, but was reluctant to travel longer distances due to other household obligations. During this time, I appeared for interviews and got offers from a few companies. However, I could not manage to join due to my location and other constraints. Many a time, I faced rejection due to a profile mismatch and a career gap. One of the top IT companies rejected me in the final round of the HR interview, citing my career gap as a reason.This brought frustration and anxiety, and I decided to stop searching for opportunities due to cascading thoughts of rejection and outdatedness. This situation impacted my self confidence and I deleted my profiles from the job portals.Everyone experiences ups and downs in life. Six years later, on a particular day, I made the decision to move forward, even though it might have been considered quite late. I realized the need to enhance my IT skills I enrolled in a React course, began the learning process, and initiated job applications.I started coding regularly to practice and reinforce my newly acquired skills" emphasizes the importance of consistent and hands-on practice. Regular coding sessions serve to solidify understanding, build confidence, and prepare for real-world applications of the acquired IT skills.Practice improves my ability to solve difficulties and come up with new solutions..I received a call from the HR Department of Prodt, and they guided me about my task.Ripandeep and Maria were very understanding of my doubts and allowed me enough time to finish the assignment. They were both very prompt in addressing my concerns, which really impressed me.
During the interview process , I was really nervous. It made it a bit challenging to stay as calm as I usually am while answering questions and talking about my experiences and qualifications. The meeting with Mr. Sanjeev was quite insightful.
